MEP Senior Project Manager

A leading international engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Senior MEP Project Manager to support the delivery of major large-scale projects across Europe.
Role Overview
As Senior MEP Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of mechanical and electrical packages on major construction projects. You will lead project teams from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover, ensuring safe, high-quality, and commercially efficient delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead full project lifecycle delivery from start-up to completion
- Develop and manage execution plans, programmes, and deliverables
- Ensure safe delivery aligned with programme, budget, and client requirements
- Drive performance across multi-disciplinary teams
Commercial & Programme Management
- Manage budgets, forecasting, cost control, and reporting
- Oversee variations, risks, and change management
- Develop and maintain project schedules and key milestones
- Provide accurate reporting to senior stakeholders
Stakeholder Management
- Act as primary interface with clients and key stakeholders
- Chair progress meetings and technical coordination sessions
- Build strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners
- Represent the project at a senior level
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor engineering, site, and commercial teams
- Promote collaboration and high-performance culture
- Support team development and capability growth
Health, Safety & Quality
- Ensure compliance with all HSEQ standards and procedures
- Promote strong safety culture across all site activities
- Oversee quality assurance and continuous improvement processes
Technical Delivery
- Ensure MEP systems meet design, specification, and client requirements
- Coordinate engineering deliverables and installation works
- Support commissioning, testing, and final handover activities
Requirements
- Proven experience as a MEP Project Manager or Senior PM on large-scale projects
- Strong background in data centres, pharmaceutical, or industrial projects
- Experience managing MEP packages in excess of €20M+
- Strong mechanical and electrical building services knowledge
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong commercial awareness and contract management experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
